Call for Applications: Mobility Funding to Participate in Conferences, Workshops and Colloquia

1 January – 31 July, 2026

Deadline: 15 November 2025

The Max Weber Network Eastern Europe and its individual locations reserve the right to offer mobility funding for participation in conferences, workshops and colloquia. The program is aimed at highly qualified internationally oriented scholars in the humanities and social sciences (doctoral candidates, postdocs, experienced researchers) working on topics that correspond to the research profile of the network and its locations.

Application Documents

• Application form (See attached file)
• Exposé on the research project including information on the status of the preliminary
• work (approx. 2 pages).
• Brief assessment by the academic supervisor or another expert in the relevant field (up
• to one page).
• Invitation from the organizer
• Curriculum vitae (with list of publications)
• Copy of the Master’s or doctoral degree certificate
• Proof of knowledge of the relevant working language of the event

The application can be submitted in German or English.
