CfA: 1–2-month scholarships for research in Germany

In 2023, the Max Weber Foundation has established a new Branch Office in Georgia to support further development of exchange and cooperation in the broader field of history and related disciplines between the scientific communities of the South Caucasus and Germany. In this context the Max Weber Foundation – Georgia Branch Office invites applications for one- to two-month fellowships for the period from 1 March to 31 July 2024 for research in German archives, libraries, and research institutes.
Applicants are advanced Master-Students, work on corresponding dissertation or hold a PhD. They are affiliated to an institution in the South Caucasian countries. The scholarship is intended to cover the additional expenses resulting from the research stay in Germany. The amount of the scholarship is determined by the Georgia Office and is based on the DFG guidelines.
The detailed guidelines of the Max Weber Foundation – Georgia Branch Office for the award and the amount of the scholarship are regulated in detail in the Provisional Scholarship Regulations.
