Internship

Internship in the Georgia office

The Georgia Branch Office of the Max Weber Foundation in Tbilisi offers Georgian, Armenian, and Azerbaijani students of history and relevant neighbouring disciplines the opportunity to complete an internship (6-8 weeks fulltime, but part-time over a corresponding longer period is possible).

For non-residents of Tbilisi, the Georgia Branch Office will cover travel expenses to Tbilisi and provide accommodation (guest flat). Residents of Tbilisi receive a one-off expense allowance of 150 Euro which is paid out at the end of the internship. After successful completion of the internship, the office can issue a corresponding certificate.

Good knowledge of German or English language is required. We appreciate the ability to work independently, good computer skills and the willingness to actively participate in all areas of our work (support at events, preparation of publications, library work, PR).

Please submit the following application documents (in German or English):

  • letter of motivation
  • certificates from the university about study performance
  • short curriculum vitae
  • letter of recommendation from a university teacher
  • proof of language skills
  • preferred dates

Please send the documents as one PDF file by e-mail to info@mws-georgia.org. The application documents can be submitted at any time.

There is no legal entitlement to an internship.

Completing an internship does not constitute an employment or work relationship.
